Why Costa Rica

Though predominantly Catholic, most people in Costa Rica don’t go to church anywhere and more importantly, most of them don’t understand what having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ means. Legalism and traditionalism have created a tainted representation of Christianity in Costa Rica.

The truth is that most people in Costa Rica don’t have a problem with God . . . their problem is with church. Costa Rica as a whole, predominantly views church as being irrelevant. That is the perception that we are setting out to change.

Due to geographic location and influence in the region, The Economist magazine has recently called Costa Rica “The Bridge to Latin America.”
